Boilers & Radiant Heating Systems
Enjoy the quiet, comfortable warmth of a radiant heating system.

Freewatt Plus Hydronic System
The hydronic Freewatt plus system used the hydronic HI module and control module to integrate the Honda MCHP power module with a super-efficient redidential boiler. This modulating condensing boiler captures 95% of the available energy. The advanced microprocessor control continuously adjusts the system's output to match the home's heating load. The hydronic Freewatt plus offers an optional indirect hot water tank, which will satisfy the home's hot water needs and allow for year-round electricity generation. Hydronic Freewatt plus can provide space heating, water heating, electric power and backup power for your hydronic heating system application.
Radiant Heating System
Ordinary heating systems rely on air circulation to distribute heat. Since hot air rises, the warmth migrates and accumulates near the ceiling, causing forced air systems to work overtime to heat the occupied space. Radiant floor heat is more like the sun. Radiant heat directly warms people and objects, so the warmth stays in your living space. With radiant heat it is true comfort while saving money on heating bills.Radiant heat offers you comfort choices. Warm your entire house or just problem areas like the kitchen, bathroom, basement and entryway. Multiple thermostats can control your comfort and your costs by allowing you to turn down the temperature in rooms that are no in use. If you want, you can even have a thermostat in every room.
Energy Efficient Heating
The water in a radiant system has a capacity to transport energy 3,500 times greater than air, so it can heat (and even cool) using less energy than a forced-air system. This amounts to greater comfort at a lower thermostat setting, which provides lower energy bills. In fact, more people are comfortable with radiant floor heating at a lower thermostat setting than with forced-air heating at a higher thermostat setting.Additionally, a radiant heating system works in zones, allowing different areas of a home to heat at different temperatures. This allows typically chilly rooms, such as bathrooms, basements and entryways, to receive more heat when needed. At the same time, rooms with less traffic, such as a den or formal dining room, can be set to a lower thermostat setting, making the system even more energy-efficient.
Other Radiant Heat Applications
Snow and Ice Melting: The concept of radiant floor heating can also make driveways and walkways clean and dry during the winter, eliminating the need for salting, sanding or shoveling. Uponor snow and ice melt systems help lower maintenance costs, reduce dangerous accidents associated with slippery walkways, extend the life of concrete and asphalt, and eliminate disturbing noise from snow blowers as well as the problem of tracking salt and sand into your home.A few of the boilers we carry for radiant systems: Boilers
