All Climate working with the redevelopment team in Fukishima, Japan- Febuary 9, 2012

All Climate has recently teamed up with the Fukishima development team in the disaster area in Japan to help stabilize their power systems. The goal of the team, is to help with the country's shift from dependency on nuclear power to green power options. Due to the tragedy of Fukishima, Japan increased efforts to further develop wind, solar, hydropower, and biomass. The goal of the program is to increase the countries renewable energy supply to a staggering 20% by 2030. That figure is drastically different from the previous proposal of 50% nuclear energy (by 2030) that was in place before the tragedies at Fukishima.




Northwest Harvest


All Climate Employees & Customers Collect Food For Northwest Harvest - March 29, 2010

Over the past months, All Climate has been working with customers to collect food donations to benefit Northwest Harvest. Northwest Harvest is a statewide hunger relief agency that provides nutritious food to those who need it. Last year alone, Northwest Harvest was able to obtain over 24 million pounds of food to distribute to more than 300 food banks, hot meal programs and elementary schools across Washington. All Climate customers have helped make it possible to donate 2-3 boxes of food per week for this cause, and we will continue to do so. Feel free to stop by our office in Redmond to drop off any food you wish to donate!

Living Hope Community Centre

My name is Aaron Tally and I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Russ Brown and the All Climate family.

Russ supported me, and a team of 10 from Overlake Christian Church, that I led to Cape Town, South Africa in Early August of 2010, by helping purchase these t-shirts shown.

Each time I visit South Africa we work in a slum called Overcome Heights with our partner Living Hope. We, as a team, wore these shirts daily in the community, working with kids and teens. Also, when we are there, we are part of a day of testing in the community for HIV, TB, diabetes and blood pressure.

We had spent the days leading up to the testing by going door to door, inviting the community to come and get involved.

This year we decided to take t shirts as incentive to get fully tested. Even though HIV is widespread in South Africa, there is still stigma attached to having this disease, so coming out to get tested takes a lot of courage. It was a huge success as over 175 people were tested and more importantly those that needed it, got the counseling and treatment necessary to help their future, ultimately giving them hope. They wore these t shirts with pride. It is a reminder that when we serve others unselfishly, great things can happen.
